AMP8 and SR27 represent a pivotal moment for the UK water industry – one that is testing the sector’s ability to adapt, innovate, and collaborate under pressure. The challenges of stringent regulatory compliance, rapid technical innovation, and robust supply chain management are driving the need for new technology and big investments; new technologies in turn demand upskilled people and strong supplier support; and a resilient supply chain requires close cooperation and innovation-sharing. WES2026’s theme, ‘Delivering a Sustainable Future Through Innovation, Partnership and Standardisation’, will provide the opportunity for industry professionals to gain essential insights from their peers via engaging presentations and panel discussions exploring the key issues faced by the sector. Through this year’s conference, we will tackle how water companies can address the challenges of tougher regulations by harnessing standardisation and cutting-edge technology, strengthening partnerships, delivering regulatory outcomes, deploying new technologies at scale, and reinforcing their supply chains.
WES2026: Bigger and Better Than Ever!
We welcomed over 2000 attendees in 2025, and WES2026 is set to be the biggest edition of the show yet. For the first time, WES will expand into three halls of the Telford International Centre. Over 200 companies will be exhibiting their products, equipment, and services to professionals from across the water sector, showcasing the latest technologies to drive innovation throughout the industry.
The Water Equipment Show’s breakout sessions will return, exploring the industry’s most pressing challenges and opportunities for development. Each room will have its own specific theme to provide a dedicated space for a deep dive into each topic. The themes for each room are:
