Webinar 9:  It's more than just data. Introduction to wireless sensors and asset remote condition monitoring
Presenter: Paul Egan, CEO,  8Power
Ltd

Date:  Thursday 12th November 2020 at 13:30hrs.
Recording Available for Pump Centre members
This webinar will introduce delegates to how wireless sensors and data insights are changing how UK Water assets are operated & maintained. The aim is to demystify the technology and language to show how complex data can be presented to the right users, in the right way at the right time to avoid catastrophic asset failure. The webinar will step through a typical use case of what condition data is required, how data is collected by sensors, transmitted and how this data can be processed and presented in an easy to read format to track developing problems.

VIRTUAL SEMINAR

Title:  Product Data Templates – Understanding data requirements for the UK Water Industry in AMP7
Collaborative Virtual Seminar  involving BIM4Water, British Water & the Pump Centre
Date:  Tuesday 1st December 2020 at 10am.

Presenters: Jamie Mills (Xylem), Richard Stirland (Anglian Water), Roger Marlow (Pump Centre) & Mike Overy (Northumbrian Water)

During the next investment cycle the UK Water Industry is going to be making big improvements to the way it handles asset information using a methodology called Building Information Modelling (BIM).
BIM is one of the key digital ways of working that the UK Water Industry needs to implement in order to achieve its long-term strategy. Determinations from the regulator are becoming more and more challenging, and traditional methods of delivering efficiency are not sustainable longer term. BIM will enable water companies to achieve the greater TOTEX asset value that is required for success in AMP7. To make this happen, there will be growing demand for digital product data exchange.
This event is to help raise awareness around data exchange requirements in AMP 7 and is aimed at anyone involved in the manufacture or procurement of mechanical and electrical equipment.
